Impact of rail service disruptions on Italy traffic

Rail traffic in Italy is currently experiencing disruptions due to congestion at the Brenner Pass. This situation is a consequential effect of
last week’s disruptions due to a landslide, and the backlog is still being cleared. In addition, rail capacity in Germany will be reduced from 5 October to 23 October
due to track construction works on the Lübeck-Hamburg railway line. The rail transport disruptions in Italy and Germany impact the majority of import and export units to and from Italy.
