Notice of planned border blockade – effective 1 March 2026

The haulers have once again announced a potential blockade of the EU’s external borders with the Balkan countries, currently scheduled to take effect on 1 March 2026.

This action is being considered because the changes and improvements previously agreed upon by the EU have not yet been implemented, and the underlying issues remain unresolved. As a result, there is a strong likelihood that the borders may be blocked again.
