Meet our team and workplace

As an employee at RTC Transport, you become part of a growing company with engaged and dedicated colleagues. We offer an informal and dynamic work environment where honest opinions and input are valued—because we believe you can make a difference. Daily operations are characterized by cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring strong structure and a workplace where diverse skills and experiences strengthen one another.

Customer Service Department

In our customer service department, you’ll meet an energetic and welcoming team that is in daily contact with both customers and end users. The goal is always to deliver fast and effective solutions—preferably with a smile and a twinkle in the eye.

With a strong focus on high service, the customer service team works closely with both the warehouse and operations offices to ensure a smooth and professional experience all around.

Below, two of our employees share their experiences at RTC:

“As a new employee, you can expect a cheerful workday with a flat structure between management and staff, where there’s a lot of freedom under responsibility. Everyone is expected to take ownership of reaching the day’s goals and sub-goals. You also get to visit other departments, which gives you a complete understanding of your colleagues and their tasks.”

“You’ll always get help from a colleague, and if something is difficult, we try to find a solution together. Socially, you can expect to be included in our conversations so you’re never left alone—and that’s how we get to know each other.”

The Warehouse

Our three warehouses are buzzing with activity from early morning, where our warehouse and operations staff handle incoming goods and ensure they are sent out on the correct routes.

Precision and teamwork are crucial to ensuring timely deliveries.

Below, you can learn more about daily life in our warehouses:

“Life in the warehouse is very routine-based and gives a great overview of what goods are coming and going. I always start the day by checking the previous day’s deliveries and enjoy the interaction with the various vehicles that arrive—both those delivering to end customers and the trucks bringing goods to be scanned. Whether you work in the warehouse, the white goods office, or the furniture department, the tone is friendly and no one feels left out.”

“I really enjoy working in the warehouse because I feel a strong sense of ownership over my tasks. The tone among colleagues is always positive. There’s room for laughter and fun, which makes the day go by faster and ensures you go home with a smile. You can always approach your immediate supervisor no matter the issue—they always listen and offer helpful advice.”

Operations Office

Our operations offices help maintain an overview of our daily logistics, working dedicatedly with delivery coordination.

They are in regular dialogue with the planners to ensure full route optimization.

Below, you can learn more about daily life in our Operations Office:

“I’m incredibly happy with my job and look forward to coming in every day. We’re always ready for unexpected tasks, which adds a bit of excitement to the day. It’s great to feel supported, and there’s never a bad atmosphere. We also help each other across departments. As a new employee, you’ll always be supported with thorough training that’s planned in advance but adjusted to your learning style.”

Administration and leadership

Our administrative staff play a central role in ensuring efficient operations.

The finance department manages accounting and financial reporting. IT is responsible for operations, IT security, and maintenance.

HR handles recruitment, employee well-being, and payroll.

Business development focuses on strategy and growth.

Management ensures the right framework and focus to develop the company together with our customers.

These departments work closely together to ensure cohesive operations through cross-functional coordination.

“I started in the customer service department and was quickly fascinated by the strong social community across departments and the opportunities for development. I now work as a trainee in our HR and finance department, where I enjoy my workdays and the variety of tasks I get to be involved in.”
